A YouTuber named LabCoatz has shared a video that is getting a lot of attention online. In the video, he says he has cracked the famous Coca Cola recipe. This is a big claim because Coca Cola’s formula is known as one of the world’s biggest secrets. Many people have tried to copy it before, but most failed. In his latest video, LabCoatz explains how he used science tools, lab testing, and months of hard work to make a drink that tastes almost exactly like real Coke. He says even he could not tell the difference while tasting it. The video shows step-by-step testing, expert help, and blind taste tests. The Coca-Cola formula is still kept secret, and as such, the experiment has created much reaction from viewers and discussion on social media. The experiment, which was posted to LabCoatz’s YouTube Channel, has also generated a lot of attention from various groups across both the Scientific and Food Industry sectors.
LabCoatz explains how he used science to copy Coca Cola’s taste
LabCoatz starts by saying many people believe copying Coke is impossible. He explains that past recipes never tasted right, even after he tried them himself. Then he shares a different idea. He used mass spectrometry, a lab method that helps find what chemicals are inside a liquid. In the video, LabCoatz says, “If I add all the main flavor parts found in real Coca Cola, it should taste like Coke.” To do this, he worked with two science YouTubers who own mass spectrometers. One of them is also a college professor.First, he explains what is already known about Coke. He says a liter of Coke has sugar, caffeine, phosphoric acid, caramel color, and carbonated water. The mystery part is called “natural flavors.”He tested oils like lemon, lime, cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander, and vanilla. Many early tests failed. Some tasted too spicy. Others tasted too floral. He slowly learned which flavors mattered most.Next, he used lab results and a research paper from the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry. This helped him match flavors more closely. He also discovered something unexpected. He believes tiny amounts of vinegar and wine tannins help give Coke its sharp taste. After one full year of testing, he made a final version. LabCoatz says, “I can’t even tell the difference.” He then did blind taste tests. Many people thought his drink was real Coke. Some rated it 9.5 out of 10. LabCoatz also explains that Coca Cola has not patented its recipe. He says copying the taste for learning is legal, as long as no brand name is used. Also Read: IShowSpeed Breaks YouTube Records In Kenya As First Day Ends With 48 Million Subscribers Worldwide
