For her reception, Nupur mixed traditional colours with a modern silhouette and it totally worked. She skipped the usual lehenga and slipped into a bright red sequinned gown. The strapless neckline, fitted corset-style bodice and flowy pleated skirt gave it a very “new-age bride” feel. The jewelled chains on her arms added just the right amount of drama.
She finished the look with a diamond-and-ruby choker and matching earrings. A light, sequinned dupatta over her head added that sweet, classic bridal touch. Her hair was pulled back into a neat bun, and she kept the makeup simple – clean skin, soft eyes and glossy rose-pink lips.
All in all, the night had everything: newlywed glow, Bollywood star power and fashion moments worth bookmarking – just what you’d expect from a big, glittery Mumbai reception.
