Anushka Shetty and Prabhas make one of the most loved onscreen pairs and their chemistry in ‘Baahubali’ will always be loved. However, there were also rumours of the two dating off-screen. The social media was also blown away with rumours of their wedding. However, the duo have repeatedly clarified that they are just friends. While fans refuse to believe so and hope that there is some romance, Anushka had once said that she’s just very good friends with him. In an earlier interview, Anushka addressed the chatter around her relationship with Prabhas. Opening up about her long-standing bond with her Baahubali co-star, the actor offered rare insight into why speculation around them never seems to stop.Elaborating on their equation, she had said during a chat with Deccan Chronicle, “I have known Prabhas for over 15 years now and he is one of my 3 AM friends. We are usually linked up because both of us are not married and make an amazing on-screen pair. Had there been anything between both of us, it would have been out by this time. Both of us are the same kind of people who don’t hide any emotions if we are involved.”She also spoke warmly about her close-knit circle within the Telugu film industry, naming friends she considers family. “Nani, Prabhas, Rana, Supriya Yarlagadda, Prasanthi, Vamsi and Pramod (of UV Creations), Rajamouli family and many more,” she said. Around the same time, Anushka had also found herself linked to Telugu-Hindi filmmaker Prakash Kovelamudi, sparking yet another round of speculation. Addressing how such reports impact her personal life, she admitted that while she chooses not to engage with gossip, it does take a toll on those closest to her.She had said, “I have no idea from where these rumours come from. People who are close to me know who I am. I am someone who doesn’t give importance to gossips. But, these rumours affect my family.”
