Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that he will file full custody of his one-year-old son with Ashley St. Clair after her remarks on the trans community. “I will be filing for full custody today, given her statements implying she might transition a one-year-old boy,” Musk said in an X (formerly Twitter) post responding to a user urging him for full custody. “Coming out in support of trans grooming like this is insane,” the user wrote, quoting Ashley St. Clair’s recent remarks advocating “for those within the trans community”.

An X user recently asked Clair: “you’ve previously engaged in blatant transphobia, how do you feel about trans people in the wake of noticing how the far right truly is?”. The American writer and online personality who was known on X for her conservative commentary replied stating that she feels “immense guilt” and wants to “make amends” for things she said in the past. She specifically quoted his “son’s sister” – Elon Musk’s estranged daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson who changed her gender at the age of 18.“I feel immense guilt for my role. And even more guilt that things I have said in the past may have caused my son’s sister more pain. Idrk how to make amends for many of these things but I have been trying incredibly hard privately to learn + advocate for those within the trans community that I’ve hurt,” Ashley writes in the post. “I also haven’t said much on this bc I have gone back and forth over whether my voice would be helpful on the issue since it will be framed as disingenuous or just turning bc I’m “scorned.” Even this reply will become right wing hysteria but yeah I am sorry. Let me know how I can help,” she adds further.
Ashley St. Clair’s relationship with Elon Musk
Ashley St. Clair revealed last year that she has given birth to Musk’s 13th son. “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she wrote in a post on X then. “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.” Musk previously refuted the claim but paternity test results later confirmed the tech billionaire as father. Clair has filed a petition in New York seeking sole legal and physical custody of the child named Romulus.
