Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor and veteran star Jeetendra have monetised a major real estate asset in Mumbai, jointly selling a premium commercial property in Chandivali for Rs 559.25 crore. The transaction was registered in January 2026, according to property registration documents accessed by real estate consultancy Square Yards from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Maharashtra website.
Inside the transaction
The sold asset is located at Balaji IT Park, within the DC-10 building in Chandivali. Ownership of the commercial space was structured through corporate entities — Tusshar Kapoor’s Tushar Infra Developers Private Limited and Jeetendra’s Pantheon Buildcon Private Limited. The property comprises a built-up area of approximately 30,195 square metres (around 3,25,016 square feet), underlining the scale and value of the deal.
Chandivali’s growing commercial appeal
The transaction further highlights Chandivali’s evolution into a high-demand commercial micro-market in central Mumbai. Positioned between Powai, Andheri East and Saki Naka, the area has gained traction among corporates due to its strategic location and improving infrastructure.Strong road connectivity via the Jogeshwari–Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR), LBS Marg and the Eastern Express Highway, coupled with operational Mumbai Metro Line 1 and upcoming metro corridors, has significantly enhanced accessibility.
Airport proximity and employment hubs boost investor interest
Chandivali’s proximity to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport adds to its appeal for businesses and investors. The area also benefits from close access to major employment zones such as Powai’s IT parks, SEEPZ, MIDC, Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and Lower Parel, sustaining demand for commercial leasing and investment. The momentum is reflected in Balaji IT Park itself, which recorded another high-value transaction worth Rs 855 crore in May 2025. With rising commercial activity and infrastructure upgrades, Chandivali continues to strengthen its position as a stable, investment-friendly real estate corridor in Mumbai.
Tusshar Kapoor’s upcoming projects
On the film front, Tusshar Kapoor was last seen in Mastiii 4 and is set to appear next in Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle. The release date for the film is yet to be announced.
