
Triumph Motorcycles has increased the price of the Speed 400. As of August 2025, the roadster is now priced at Rs 2,50,551, ex-showroom, marking a hike of Rs 4,334 over its earlier price tag of Rs 2,46,217.Triumph hasn’t made any changes to the bike’s design, feature list, or mechanical components. The Speed 400 remains available in the same four paint schemes: Racing Yellow, Pearl Metallic White, Phantom Black, and Racing Red.Powering the Speed 400 is a 398.15cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that puts out 40 hp and 37.5 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Speaking of the hardware, the motorcycle uses 43mm USD forks at the front (140 mm travel) and a rear monoshock with preload adjustability (120 mm travel). Braking hardware includes a 300 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc, equipped with dual-channel ABS.
The Speed 400 runs on 17-inch cast aluminium alloy wheels shod with 110/80 front and 150/70 rear tyres. It tips the scales at 179 kg and has a seat height of 803 mm. The wheelbase stands at 1,386 mm and fuel tank capacity is 13 litres.In other developments, the company has also recently launched the Thruxton 400, a cafe racer based on the same platform as Speed 400. The model has been priced at Rs 2.74 lakh, ex-showroom.
