He stated, “We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time.” The statement was made on January 2, a day after his daughter passed away due to an alleged overdose.
What happened to Victoria Kafka Jones
In the early hours of New Year’s Day, a 911 call was made to the authorities for an unresponsive person at the Fairmont in San Francisco. As per TMZ’s report, the call pointed to an alleged drug overdose along with a colour change in the body. No official cause of death has been announced to the public. Bystanders performed CPR to revive Victoria; however, none of the attempts were successful. Victoria Kafka Jones was a former child star and had debuted in her father’s hit film ‘Men in Black 2’ at the age of 11. Over the years, she had stepped away from the limelight, but would often appear with her parents when attending public events. Tommy Lee Jones often talks about the love and bond he has with his family. In an interview with The New Yorker, the actor talked about his daughter and praised her skills. He had stated at the time, “She’s a good actress, has her SAG card, speaks impeccable Spanish.
