The Prabhas film ‘The Raja Saab’ is now finding it very hard at the box office. On day 24 the movie made only Rs 30 lakhs and this shows how much the film is slowing down now. The numbers from the Sacnilk website also show the same trend and it looks like the movie is almost at the end of its run.
Overall numbers tell a clear picture
The worldwide collection of the film stands at Rs 208.07 crore. The India net is Rs 145.75 crore, India gross is Rs 173.82 crore and overseas is Rs 34.25 crore. Even though these numbers look big they are not great when we look at the scale and the expectations around a Prabhas film.
Telugu, Hindi, Kannada day wise numbers
The Telugu version is the strongest with a Telugu net of Rs 119.82 crore. But even Telugu numbers dropped a lot now. Day 24 is Rs 30 lakhs. Day 23 is Rs 27 lakhs and day 22 is Rs 25 lakhs. The Hindi version is almost flat now with Rs 24.22 crore net. Day 21, 20, and 18-19 are all around Rs 1 lakh and day 17 is Rs 2 lakhs. The Kannada version is very small too with a total of Rs 39 lakhs. Day 10, 9, and 8 are all Rs 1 lakh.
Fans share mixed feelings online
The reviews on social media are mixed, and many fans are not happy. One person wrote, “Prabhas, I must say, looked so fake and artificial, except in or two, he was never in his elements and add to that the horrible face swap, my goodness, Zarina Wahab was superb, Sanjay Dutt as usual, loud but impact-less. And least we talk about the female leads, the better. Technically, movie looks so tacky, cinematography by Karthik Palani is okayish at best, editing by Kotagiri is pathetic to say the least, music by Thaman is bad, but score and mixing is altogether horrible, VFX is poor, production values by PMF is cheap.“Another reviewer wrote something very emotional. They said, “There is only one person who can truly affect Prabhas’s stardom-and that person is Prabhas himself. Saying this is painful for fans, but after watching The Raja Saab, it becomes difficult to ignore. I went in with zero expectations, already prepared for disappointment. Still, the outcome was far worse than imagined. Let me be clear: I am a fan. I have celebrated his rise, defended him during difficult phases, and watched every release with hope. But true fandom is rooted in honesty, not blind loyalty.”The movie stars Prabhas, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar. It is directed by Maruthi. Even with a strong cast, the film could not reach the level people hoped for.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from diverse public and industry sources.
