The entrance examinations are conducted by Osmania University for admission to law courses offered by colleges across Telangana.Through TG LAWCET, candidates can get admission to 3-year and 5-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) courses. How to apply for TG LAWCET 2026
Candidates can apply online by following these simple steps:
- Visit the official website at lawcet.tgche.ac.in
- Click on the TG LAWCET / TG PGLCET 2026 registration link
- Fill in personal details and academic information
- Select the course (3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, or LLM)
- Upload a recent photograph and signature in the prescribed format
- Pay the application fee using debit card, credit card, or net banking
- Submit the form and save a copy for future reference

Eligibility criteria
- 5-year LLB: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board
- 3-year LLB: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university
- LLM (TG PGLCET): Candidates must have completed an LLB degree from a recognised university
There is no upper age limit to appear for TG LAWCET 2026. Minimum qualifying marks and relaxation for reserved categories will be as per state government rules.
TG LAWCET 2026 exam pattern
The entrance examination will be held on May 18, 2026, in computer-based mode. The question paper will have multiple-choice questions.For TG LAWCET, the paper will include questions from General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, Aptitude for the Study of Law.The exam will test basic legal awareness, reasoning ability, and understanding of social and legal issues. There will be no negative marking.
Admission process
