Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s legal drama has put a number of celebrities from Jenny Slate to Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and others in the in the spotlight. However, none have taken over the top trends quite like Taylor Swift following the unsealing of her text messges that seem to indicate her involvement in the legal drama.
Taylor Swift is not happy with the text release related to the Baldoni-Lively case
Us Weekly reported that ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ singer is not happy that text messages were made public ahead of the legal dispute. “Having her texts out there made her feel exposed and kind of violated, like, something private suddenly wasn’t hers anymore. That doesn’t sit well with her,” read a statement from the report.
Another report cited that Swift was simply trying to be a supportive friend to Lively and had not wanted to get involved in the legal drama. It has been reported on multiple occasions that due to the legal dispute, Lively and Swift, who used to be very close, have had a falling out, with no reconciliation in sight.

Last week it was reported that Taylor and Blake had conversations about Justin Baldoni and the ‘It Ends With Us’ script. In the texts Lively had asked the singer, “Can you do me a huge favor. I need help with him. Can you tell him you are excited for the movie. That you read the book but what you’re freaking out over is the [script] pages I sent you. What a magnetic scene that is. Or whatever descriptives you’re comfortable [with].”In another text chain, the two had talked about Swift making things up during an altercation with Baldoni at her pent house. Lively had texted Swift that “You are the worlds absolutely greatest friend. I won the lottery.”In 2024, Blake Lively sued Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment and for running a smear campaign against her. Baldoni countersued with a 400 million USD defamation lawsuit, which was dropped in a month. Now, the two are awaiting trial this summer.
