The Tata Xpres is positioned as an affordable fleet sedan, with prices starting at Rs 5.59 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 6.59 lakh for the CNG version, both ex-showroom. The Maruti Dzire Tour S, meanwhile, is priced from Rs 7.04 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to over Rs 8.00 lakh, ex-showroom. Exact prices can depend on region or dealer.

The Tata Xpres petrol and CNG are powered by Tata Motors’ 1.2-litre Revotron engine paired with a manual gearbox. In petrol form, it produces 86 hp and 113 Nm of torque. The CNG version delivers lower outputs of 75.5 hp and 95 Nm.Maruti’s Dzire Tour S gets the newer 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine.
