In her interview with Punjab First Voice, Supriya Pathak opened up about the equation she shares with Shahid Kapoor. The veteran actress said that they talk about life and discuss each other’s philosophies as well. Her husband and his father, Pankaj Kapur, who was also part of the interview, interrupted and said, “They bond over criticising me.”To this Supriya Pathak added, “I don’t criticize; I only listen to the criticism.” She went on to add that their bond is strong because of the shared “path” they are on. With that, she referred to their faith in the Radha Soami spiritual tradition. She expressed, “I pray that we stay this way.”In the same interview, Supriya Pathak heaped praises on her daughter-in-law, Mira Rajput, and lauded her for bringing the family together.

He said, “I think he was phenomenal in ‘Haider’; there is no doubt about it.”The veteran actor added that his son is a “very good actor.” Not just that, he went on to call Shahid the “finest actor in our country in his age group.” Though Pankaj Kapur stated that he is very proud of Shahid’s achievements, for him, “it feels strange to praise your own child.”

Shahid Kapoor will next feature in Vishal Bhardwaj‘s film reportedly titled ‘Romeo’. The film has been scheduled to hit theaters in February 2026.
