Indian actor Anupam Tripathi bags lead role in Korean film
Anupam Tripathi, who is known for playing the role of Ali Abdul (Player 199) in the Netflix series, will be heading a Korean feature film. According to the Matrubhumi report, ‘Rhapsody for the Dead,’ the movie is set to release in South Korea and other Asian countries. The official release will be dropped soon by the makers.

Taking to his Instagram account, Anupam Tripathi shared, “My first Korean movie, #Rapsodyforthedead, as a lead actor is coming soon this month, in theatres. Frankly speaking, I’m very nervous, excited, and emotional about it.”He went on to add, “From no name in credits to first. From no name in the credits, I can’t describe this feeling in words; I am just so grateful for everything happening for me… pure blessings of you all.”

The film has been directed by Kim Hyeon-joon and was showcased at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival. The film’s story revolves around a young woman named Soo-ah who, being pursued by an exorcist named Anuat, played by Tripathi.
