The first teaser of ‘Toxic’ starring Yash was launched today, January 8, on the occasion of the actor’s 40th birthday. With the tagline of ‘Daddy’s home’, the teaser evoked praise from ‘Spirit’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, best known for his films ‘Arjun Reddy’, ‘Kabir Singh’, and ‘Animal’, was blown away by the teaser of Yash starrer ‘Toxic’. The ‘Animal’ director expressed that the teaser just knocked him out!
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), on Thursday, Vanga wrote, “TOXIC teaser just knocked me out. Style. Attitude. Chaos.” He also extended birthday wishes to Yash. “Happy Birthday Yash.”
All about ‘Toxic’
‘Toxic’ directed by acclaimed filmmaker Geetu Mohandas, features Yash in the lead role. Yash has co-scripted the film along with the director. In the teaser launched today, it was revealed that Yash is playing the role of Raya. Actors Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth will be seen in pivotal roles in the film. The teaser opens at a cemetery, where the father of a deceased man wonders if Raya would appear at the funeral. “I don’t think so. Nobody is so insane,” one says. Soon, Raya arrives and announces, “Daddy’s home,” blasting the graveyard to smithereens. Yash is seen wielding a gun in the teaser. Within a few hours of its release, the teaser reportedly crossed 6 million views on YouTube. On the technical front, award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi is the Director of Photography. Ujwal Kulkarni has roped in as the editor. Ravi Basrur is in charge of the music. The sound design of the film is handled by Kunal Sharma. JJ Perry, Anbariv, Kecha Khamphakdee, and Amrit Singh are the action directors.‘Toxic – A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, and all eyes are on it, given that it’s Yash’s first outing after the ‘KGF’ franchise. Additionally, raising the stakes is its imminent clash with Ranveer Singh led, Aditya Dhar directed ‘Dhurandhar’ Part 2.
