About ‘Parasakthi’ and the film team
‘Parasakthi’ is directed by Sudha Kongara. The film is based on the anti-Hindi agitations of the 1960s. Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, and Sreeleela also play important roles alongside Sivakarthikeyan. With ‘Jana Nayagan’ postponing the release date ‘Parasakthi’ is expected to get a good start at the box office.‘Parasakthi’ is expected to mark the comeback of Sivakarthikeyan after ‘Madharaasi’ which failed to impress the audiences.‘Madharaasi’ received 3 stars from ETimes and our review read, ” Sivakarthikeyan’s robust performance and Vidyut Jamwal’s swagger power Madharaasi in a big way. The former, with his beefed-up look, is a far cry from the roadside Romeos that we have seen him play in the early years of his career, and his intensity during the action sequences establishes that he’s now in the big league. As for the latter, after Thuppakki, he gets another memorable antagonist role, where he puts his brawn and screen presence to superb use.“
