In an interview with Punjab First Voice, Pankaj Kapur revealed his father was the first person of their family to join Radha Soami. He further added, he spends almost all his free time in Beas, and his son Shahid is initiated too. Speaking of Shahid, when Pankaj was asked if Kapoor’s marriage with Mira Rajput was suggested by the Guru of the respective faith, the veteran actor said, “Yes, that’s how it was organized.” Without sharing much, he remarked, “I don’t want to reveal too much about this topic… Yes, two families were introduced to each other, with the intention of getting Shahid and Mira to tie the knot.”
Supriya Pathak says Mira Rajput is like a daughter to her
In the same interview, Pankaj Kapur’s wife and actress Supriya Pathak also shared some sweet words for Mira. She called her ‘a wonderful child’ and added, “She is more like my daughter than a daughter-in-law.” She added that Mira has brought the whole family closer. “We are very blessed to have her; she’s the one who brought the family together,” mentioned the actress.
