After completing ‘Jailer 2’, Rajinikanth will begin work on his next film, tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 173’. The project will be directed by Cibi Chakravarthy, known for ‘Don’, and co-produced by Kamal Haasan under the Raaj Kamal Films International banner. Music for the film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The movie was initially announced with Sundar C as the director, marking a possible reunion, but he later stepped away due to prior commitments. Later, several filmmakers, including Ashwath Marimuthu, Nithilan Saminathan, and Ramkumar Balakrishnan, were said to have pitched their scripts to Rajinikanth.
