‘Saiyaara’ has been ruling at the box office ever since it released on July 18. It became a humungous film at the box office with the kind of reactions coming in. Not to mention, it further helped to generate those box office numbers. The film made Rs 172.75 crore in its first week. Now just as it ends its week 2, it made Rs 107.75 crore at the domestic box office. The film starring Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda directed by Mohit Suri has now begun to face competition from other releases. Saiyaara Movie ReviewIn the last two-three days, ‘Saiyaara’ has begun to slow down, just as ‘Mahavtar Narsimha’ has been raging at the box office. There’s been immense positive word of mouth surrounding the movie and since it is also an animated, children friendly movie, also liked by adults, it is having an edge over ‘Saiyaara’ in the last few days. On day 14, which is Thursday, ‘Saiyaara’ managed to collect Rs 6.5 crore. And now on Day 15, Saturday, the collection up till afternoon is Rs crore. The total net collection in India is now Rs 280.73 crore. One will have to see now how ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ and ‘Dhadak 2’ will fare and if they give competition to the film. Basically, even the number of screens of ‘Saiyaara’ may be reduced now due to ‘Mahavtar Narsimha’ and now both these sequels. But which one out of these will stand out? Time will tell.
