Mohit Suri’s romantic drama ‘Saiyaara’ is still pulling in crowds at the cinemas even after nearly three weeks. Starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the film may have seen a slight dip in numbers, but it’s now just a step away from touching the Rs 275 crore mark at the Indian box office.
Mints LOWEST on day 13
According to early estimates shared by Sacnilk, ‘Saiyaara’ earned approximately Rs 7 crore on its day 13, Wednesday, 30 July 2025, bringing its total domestic net collection to Rs 273.50 crore. While the film’s pace has slowed slightly, especially when compared to its initial blockbuster opening, the numbers remain impressive for a romantic drama fronted by two debutants. The film’s occupancy across Hindi shows stood at 14.54% on Day 13, with morning shows recording 10.33%, afternoons at 15.67%, evening shows at 15.03%, and night shows at a strong 17.11%.

It then picked up slightly on Tuesday with Rs 10 crore, only to fall to Rs 7 crore on Wednesday. This was its lowest single-day collection since release.

Big moment for ‘Saiyaara’ at the global level
While the film is close to Rs 275 crore in India, it has already made a massive impact worldwide. In just 11 days, ‘Saiyaara’ crossed the Rs 400 crore mark globally — a huge feat for a romantic drama with debut leads. This big win puts it ahead of some of Bollywood’s biggest love stories. It has now beaten Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Kabir Singh’ (Rs 379 crore) and Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ (Rs 264 crore) in total global earnings. The proud moment was shared by YRF on their official Instagram handle, with the caption, “#Saiyaara is touching hearts everywhere…” A poster shared in the post read, “Highest grossing love story in Indian cinema history Rs 404 crore (46.84 Million) Worldwide gross.”
New films may bring box office fight
The coming Friday could shake things up at the cinemas. On 1 August, ‘Son Of Sardar 2’ and ‘Dhadak 2’ are set to release, and both films are expected to bring competition. If they receive good word of mouth, they could cut into ‘Saiyaara’’s audience, especially in urban centres. Still, with a strong lead so far and growing fan love, ‘Saiyaara’ might just hold its ground even in the face of new releases.
