Indian cricket star Rohit Sharma was recently spotted driving a brand-new Tesla Model Y in Mumbai. Given the registration number donned by the popular electric car, it appears that he has bought it. The Tesla’s registration number ends with “3015” reportedly holding a sentimental meaning. According to reports, the digits combine the birthdates of Rohit’s children. Social media users shared glimpses of the car, highlighting both the plate and the sleek electric SUV.

In terms of pricing, Tesla’s Model Y was recently launched in India with two options. The base standard variant is priced around Rs 59.89 lakh, ex-showroom, while the Long-Range variant comes at about Rs 67.89 lakh.
The Model Y Long Range packs impressive performance and technology. Its rear-drive electric motor produces roughly 295 bhp, allowing it to sprint from 0–100 kmph in around 5.9 seconds. On a single charge, the SUV can cover up to 622 km WLTP. The cabin complements its futuristic performance, featuring a 15.4-inch touchscreen, heated and ventilated seats, a panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, and more.Besides that, the Tesla Model Y comes loaded with advanced safety tech, including a 360-degree camera, autonomous emergency braking, a complete ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) package, and six airbags for added protection. This electric car comes in six color options, with Stealth Grey as the standard shade.
