
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai unveiled the souvenir “Savarkar Saurabh”, based on the life of Swatantrya Veer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, at his residence office today. The publication of ‘Savarkar Saurabh’ has been undertaken by the Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Chhattisgarh, to commemorate the occasion of Savarkar Jayanti.
Extending heartfelt congratulations to the members of the Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Chhattisgarh, on the publication of the souvenir, Chief Minister Sai said that Veer Savarkar was a true son of the nation. “He ignited the spirit of freedom while enduring immense hardships in the service of the motherland. The inspiring accounts from his courageous life will serve as a source of motivation for all,” he said.
Shri Prabhat Mishra, editor of ‘Savarkar Saurabh’ and State Convener of Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Chhattisgarh, informed the Chief Minister that the souvenir compiles and presents significant events from the life of Swatantrya Veer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Various authors have contributed their perspectives on different dimensions of Savarkar’s life within the volume.
The event was attended by several distinguished personalities from the Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Chhattisgarh, including Shri Rameshwar Sharma, Shri Shivratan Gupta, Shri Manish Sharma, Shri Santosh Barlota, Shri Bhaskar Kinhikar, Shri Abhay Mishra, and Shri Kaushal Sahu, among others.
