Noted film producer Madhu Mantena and wife, Ira Trivedi announced that they are expecting their first child together. The couple chose the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, January 15, 2026 to share their joyful news with a heartwarming social media post.
Ira Trivedi makes a heartfelt post
Ira Trivedi took to Instagram to share a series of pictures of the couple from what looks like a maternity photoshoot.“Our life in bloom Thank you Krishna for this beautiful gift of divine life… seeking your blessings on this auspicious day of Makar Sankranti,” Ira wrote.
In the first picture, the couple can be seen twinning in white outfits with Ira’s baby visibly marking a presence in the cute shoot. The second picture features a solo shot of Ira Trivedi wearing a black dress and cradling her baby bump. The third image shows Ira Trivedi caught in a candid moment on a beach photshoot with her hair tied with flowers, and wearing a white bralette and skirt. The next two images show the couple posing together with the bump between them and with their pet dog. The comments section was replete with congratulatory messages from industry peers like Regena Cassandrra, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s manager, Poonam Damania, Mrunal Thakur, Rajkummar Rao, Hrithik Roshan, Huma Qureshi, among others. The couple had tied the knot in a star-studded yet intimate ceremony in June 2023.

On the professional front, Madhu Mantena has produced films like ‘Ghajini’, ‘Queen’, ‘Masaan’, ‘Super 30’, and ‘Sacred Games’. Ira Trivedi is a yoga teacher, columnist and an author. On the work front, Madhu Mantena’s last release was the Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor starrer, ‘Loveyapa’ that had released on February 7, 2025.For the unversed, Madhu Mantena was previously married to designer Masaba Gupta from 2015–2019. Following their amicable separation, both have moved forward; Gupta found happiness with Satyadeep Mishra, and Madhu found his partner in Ira Tridevi.
