Pune: Prakash Divakaran, Vice-Chancellor of Himalayan University, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, was conferred the Certificate of Appreciation for Excellence in Leadership and Academic Contribution at the National Leadership Summit 2025 held recently. The summit was hosted by CP HR Services under the theme “Beyond Skills: Build What AI Can’t,” bringing together visionary leaders from education, HR, and industry to discuss the future of human capability in an AI-enabled world, a statement issued by the organisers said. Divakaran was honoured for his distinguished contribution to education, research, and academic administration, and for his outstanding leadership in transforming higher education. While addressing the gathering, he emphasised the need for higher education institutions to build strong internal capability and prepare faculty and students for a rapidly changing future. Dr Mohammed Bawaji, Managing Director of CP HR Services, delivered the keynote address and underlined that the future is not “Man versus Machine” but “Man with Machine.” He also announced the launch of CPHR Academy and SkillStudio, two initiatives aimed at strengthening human capability through practical upskilling programs. A total of 26 distinguished awardees from across India were felicitated during the ceremony. The celebrations also marked 21 years of CP HR Services, the recognition of the PRISM-HR Playbook launch at the Oxford campus, and the International Leadership Award for HR received at the House of Lords, London, added the statement. The summit concluded with a powerful message: Technology may accelerate growth, but people will always lead the way.
