
Internet personality Orry, aka Orhan Awatramani, recently faced backlash for allegedly mocking late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and Garba queen Falguni Pathak. ‘Bigg Boss 15’ fame Rajiv Adatia slammed the social media influencer.The controversy began when Orry attended Pathak’s concert, where he said, “Falguni peacock singing on stage.” He also referred to the legend as “Lata Mangeshwari” and added that she was the “queen of Garba.”

Rajiv took to social media to express his anger, saying, “This is not funny. It’s disrespectful. Lata ji was like family to me. She treated me like her own son.”He added, “Lata Mangeshkar is a Bharat Ratna awardee, the pride of India. She was the first Indian singer to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London and inspired countless artists.”The ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant called out Orry’s comments, labelling them as “offensive and ignorant.”He continued, “Comedy is fine, but disrespect is not. Know the difference.” In the caption of his post, he wrote, “@falgunipathak12, we love you, Ma’am. I apologise for the immaturity of certain individuals.”
