The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru is set to begin the registration process for the National Law School Admissions Test (NLSAT) 2026 from 15 November, 2025. NLSAT 2026: Exam pattern and structure

The NLSAT 2026 will be held in offline mode and will have a duration of 150 minutes. The paper is divided into two sections: Part A and Part B.Part A will cover comprehension-based questions, current affairs, and critical reasoning, which includes both legal and logical reasoning. Part B will focus on legal aptitude, reasoning abilities, and analytical skills.According to the marking guidelines, candidates will receive 1 mark for every correct response. A deduction of 0.25 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer as well as for unanswered questions. Only those who meet the qualifying criteria in Part A will have their Part B answers evaluated. Final admission eligibility will depend on performance across both sections.
