
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the NEET PG 2025 on Saturday, August 3, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, in a single shift across centres in India. On the day of the NEET PG exam, candidates are required to carry the hard copy of their admit cards released on July 31, 2025. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.With the release of admit cards and exam centres, candidates are now in the final stretch of preparation. NEET PG 2025 final preparation tips
Candidates appearing for the upcoming NEET UG exam can go through the following last minute preparation tips for a stress-free revision.
Focus on high-yield and frequently asked topics
- Prioritise subjects like Medicine, Surgery, PSM, Pathology, and Pharmacology.
- Use concise revision notes, previous years’ question banks, and toppers’ capsules.
- Allocate more time to topics that are scoring but require memorisation—e.g., Microbiology charts or Biochemistry pathways.
Practice full-length mock tests
- Attempt at least 2–3 full mock tests this week in CBT format.
- Focus on building stamina and time management for a 3.5-hour session.
- Analyse mistakes after each mock to identify weak areas.
Review image-based and clinical questions
- NEET PG includes many clinical scenarios and image-based MCQs.
- Revisit standard question banks featuring X-rays, histopathology slides, ECGs, and CT scans.
Avoid starting new topics
- Do not begin any new subjects now. Focus on revision, not exploration.
- Reinforce what you already know well.
Sleep well, eat light, stay calm
- Good rest is as important as hard work. Don’t compromise on sleep.
- Avoid last-minute anxiety by trusting your preparation and staying focused.
General guidelines for NEET PG 2025 candidates
On the day of NEET PG examination, candidates are advised to follow the guidelines mentioned below:
- Entry Timings: Reach the reporting counter as per the time slot mentioned on your admit card. Entry will close 30 minutes before the exam. Arriving late, even within the venue premises, can result in denial of entry.
- Admit Card and Documents: Carry a printed admit card with barcode/QR code, original and valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, etc.), and photocopy of MCI/SMC registration certificate. FMGE pass certificate is required for foreign graduates.
- Prohibited Items: Strictly avoid mobile phones, watches, wallets, books, stationery, food items, electronic devices, or any metallic accessories. No arrangement will be made to store personal belongings.
- Test Centre Security: Expect frisking, metal detector checks, biometric verification, photo capture, and face ID checks. Impersonation or forged documents will result in disqualification.
- Dress Code: Wear light clothes without large buttons, and simple footwear (no shoes). Avoid jewelry or anything that could trigger security concerns.
- During the Exam: No rough paper or pen/pencil is allowed. Each system will be monitored with surveillance. Do not look around or interact with other candidates. Raise your hand for assistance.
- COVID Precautions: Social distancing protocols will be followed wherever required. Masks are not permitted unless medically necessary with proof.
