NEW DELHI: Bihar moves into the verdict stage on Friday as counting began at 8 am, alongside bypoll results for eight assembly seats across six states as well as union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.Early counting trends in Bihar showed the ruling NDA ahead in 49 assembly seats, while the opposition INDIA bloc was leading in 39. Party-wise, the BJP had an edge in 29 seats and the JD(U) in 18, while the RJD led in 32 and the Congress in seven.Follow: Bihar Election Results 2025 Live Updates Bihar voted in two phases on November 6 and 11. Counting for all 243 assembly seats will be completed on Friday, with results expected by evening. This is the first assembly election in two decades conducted after a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
