
MoU Exchanged between Department of Planning, Economics & Statistics and Art of Living’s Personality Development Centre
In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was exchanged between the Department of Planning, Economics & Statistics of Madhya Pradesh and the Personality Development Centre of the Art of Living Foundation at the Mantralaya. Under this partnership, both institutions will collaborate in key areas such as–water conservation, sustainable agriculture, rural livelihood generation, village development, women empowerment, environmental conservation, gaudhan promotion (Cow welfare), de-addiction, health and social welfare and quality education.
This MoU is aimed at strengthening the state government’s initiatives toward sustainable development goals (SDGs), promoting the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, supporting policy formulation, enhancing effective evaluation of schemes, and conducting comprehensive surveys to help achieve the long-term development goals under Vision@2047. During the exchange of the MoU Shri Sanjay Shukla (ACS, Department of Planning, Economics & Statistics), Shri Rishi Garg (Madhya Pradesh State Policy Commission), Shri Rohan Jain and Shri Ajit Bhaskar (Representatives of Art of Living Foundation) among others were present.
The Art of Living Foundation, established by Padma Vibhushan Shri Shri Ravi Shankar ji, is actively engaged in holistic and capacity-building initiatives. The Art of Living Foundation has designed various programs specifically tailored for police personnel, scientists, armed forces, Panchayati Raj representatives, youth, teachers, and students. The organization is also actively engaged in areas such as Water conservation, Natural farming, Skill development, Rural development, Afforestation, De-addiction, Prison reform and Development of border villages. In addition, Art of Living maintains active partnerships with various state governments, as well as with ministries and departments of the Central Government. The Foundation has signed an agreement with the Government of India’s Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) under the “Karmayogi Bharat” initiative for the implementation of capacity-building programs for government officials.
