Actress Malavika Mohanan is set to make her Telugu debut in the upcoming horror comedy film starring Rebel Star Prabhas and directed by Maruthi. Ahead of its release on Sankranti 2026, the makers shared her character from the film.

Malavika Mohanan on juggling multiple genre films
The actress has been working on multiple films across industries. She received praise in the Malayalam film, ‘Hridayapoorvam’ and will be seen in the Telugu movie, ‘The Raja Saab’ and the Tamil movie, ‘Sardar 2’. Recently, while speaking with Galatta Plus they shared about the challenges of working in the movies simultaneously. “All three were such different genres and such different films, but it came down to sort of finding the specific character and being authentic to that character,” she said.

Speaking of ‘The Raja Saab’, in the film, Prabhas is seen as a young man who inherits a haunted house full of ghosts, spirits and other mystical elements, which leads to some hysterical romance-drama and action. It will be released on January 9, 2026, in multiple languages. Interestingly, the film will clash with Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’.
