NEW DELHI: Lashkar-e-Taiba leader Abu Musa Kashmiri’s video issuing warning regarding the “Kashmir issue” has surfaced on social media. Musa said that he has personally told Pakistan’s prime minister and senior ministers that, in their view, the Kashmir issue can be addressed “only through terrorism carried out under the guise of ‘jihad,'” the post said.
The TOI could not independently verify the authenticity of the video.This comes after top LeT commander Abu Qatal’s death. Qatal was shot dead by unidentified attackers in Pakistan’s Jhelum area of Sindh on Saturday night. A close aide of LeT founder Hafiz Saeed, Qatal served as the group’s chief operational commander and was known for planning several terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has named Qatal, along with four other Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives, in its chargesheet related to the Rajouri terror attack. The case pertains to the January 1, 2023 assault on Dhangri village in Rajouri, in which terrorists carried out a deadly attack that left seven people dead.
