Jeep India has just launched a new special edition of the Compass SUV, called the Track Edition, priced from Rs 26.78 lakh (ex-showroom). Based on the top-spec Model S trim, this limited-run version adds a handful of cosmetic enhancements inside and out to give the Compass a sportier, more exclusive appeal. Interested customers can book it online or by visiting their nearest dealership, Jeep says the new Track Edition is available for delivery immediately. The special edition carries a marginal price premium of Rs 30,000 – Rs 33,000 over the equivalent Model S variants. In terms of exterior design, the Compass Track Edition distinguishes itself with subtle yet sporty touches. It features a new hood decal, a distinctive Track Edition badge, and freshly designed 18-inch tech grey alloy wheels accented with contrasting beige highlights. These elements give the SUV a more rugged and exclusive appearance while retaining the premium stance of the standard Model S.
Moving inside, the Compass Track Edition receives a refined update with new Tupelo leatherette upholstery, complemented by smoke-chrome dashboard accents and contrasting beige stitching. Additional touches include Tupelo vinyl inserts embossed with Jeep branding and exclusive Track Edition floor mats, enhancing the cabin’s premium feel.
The equipment remains unchanged from the Model S trim, it continues to get LED projector tail-lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights and wipers, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 9-speaker audio system, a wireless charger, a 360-degree parking camera, ventilated front seats, Dual-zone automatic climate control and more.
The new Jeep Compass Track edition is offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine pushing 170hp power and 350Nm torque. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox, with the automatic variant also available with a 4×4 system.
