Vacancy distribution across disciplinesThe vacant posts of 49 are of various designations of Scientist/Engineer SC and SD in various disciplines of Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Atmospheric Science, Agriculture, RF and Microwave, and Marine Biology, etc. All of them fall under the Unreserved category.

Step 1: Log on to the SAC recruitment portal https://careers.sac.gov.in/.Step 2: Complete the ISRO registration process to receive a registration number.Step 3: Log in, and then select the relevant Scientist/Engineer post code.Step 4: Fill in personal, academic, and examination information and upload required documents. Step 5: Pay the application fee through the Bharatkosh portal, as well as submitting the form. Eligibility Criteria and Educational RequirementsThe age limit ranges from 18-28 years to 18-35 years in different post codes. The educational qualifications include BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MSc, or PhD in different disciplines. The minimum percentage and CGPA requirements vary in undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications.Selection process and pay scaleFor Scientist/Engineer SD posts, the selection method is through shortlisting and interview, and selection of SC posts is through a written examination and interview. Also, the remuneration package can vary from level 10 to level 11 of the pay scale, ranging from Rs 56,100 to Rs 2,08,700 depending on the post.
