
The International League T20 (ILT20) has announced that its Season 4 Player Auction will take place on September 30, 2025, in Dubai. Players can sign up until September 10 for a chance to fill 78 available slots across six teams, with teams having a combined budget of $4.8 million to spend.The tournament’s fourth season will kick off on UAE National Day, December 2, 2025, and wrap up with the final on January 4, 2026. Each team will add 13 new players to their existing roster of eight retained or pre-signed players during the auction.
“We are delighted to confirm the International League Season 4 Player Auction date – Tuesday, 30 September,” said ILT20 CEO David White. “The auction is a big milestone for the league as we continue to grow as a world-class T20 tournament. The auction will be a great opportunity for our franchises to add local and international firepower to their Season 4 squads.”Local UAE players have a golden opportunity to showcase their skills before the auction. They can impress scouts during the ACC Asia Cup 2025, scheduled for September 9-28 in the UAE, where they’ll face top T20 teams.

Teams have already completed their initial squad selections. Abu Dhabi Knight Riders have secured stars like Alex Hales and Andre Russell. Desert Vipers have picked up Sam Curran and Wanindu Hasaranga. Dubai Capitals have added Rovmann Powell and Shai Hope to their lineup. Gulf Giants have retained James Vince and Moeen Ali. MI Emirates have signed Chris Woakes and Kusal Perera, while Sharjah Warriors have secured Tim David and Johnson Charles.The tournament will feature 34 matches between six teams, promising exciting cricket action throughout the month-long event.
