
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has officially announced the ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) Improvement Exam Results 2025 on August 1, 2025, via its official portals: cisce.org and results.cisce.org. This result cycle is applicable to candidates who passed the main board exams but elected to re‑attempt up to two subjects to raise their scores in the same academic year. For ICSE, the improvement exams were held between July 1 and 14, 2025. Meanwhile for ISC, the improvement exams were held from May 30 to June 5, 2025. These examinations offered students a chance to enhance their academic outcome without waiting another full year.
How to download ICSE, ISC marksheet
To view or download your provisional improvement marksheet:
- Visit cisce.org or results.cisce.org.
- Click the link labeled “ICSE / ISC Improvement Result 2025”.
- Select the exam (ICSE or ISC), enter your Unique ID (UID), Index number, and Captcha code, then click “Show Improvement Result.”
- Download or print the on‑screen marksheet for your records

- Results may also be received via SMS services.
- Provisional marksheets are expected to be uploaded on DigiLocker, accessible with Aadhaar or registered mobile number.
What details are on the marksheet?
After downloading the ICSE and ISC results, candidates are advised to check all the details mentioned on it carefully. The following information will be mentioned in the marksheet:
- Name and Date of Birth
- School name and Exam Year
- Theory & Practical Marks
- Subject-wise grades
- Qualification Status (Pass/Fail)
- UID and Index Number
How to get the original marksheet
The mark sheet available online is only a provisional copy meant for immediate reference. To obtain the official final version, students are required to collect their original mark sheet from their respective schools. This certified document will carry the final grades and is essential for college admissions and other official purposes. In cases where a student’s result status has changed from “Not Qualified” to “Qualified” after the improvement exam, they must return their previous mark sheet (issued after the main exam) so it can be updated or replaced with the revised version reflecting their improved status.TOI Education is on WhatsApp now.
