The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has declared the results of the Diploma in Elementary Education examinations conducted during the October–November 2025 session. The results cover both first-year and second-year candidates, including full-year and re-appear examinations.The announcement was made through an official press note issued from Dharamshala. Candidates have been advised to check their results on the Board’s official website, where detailed mark statements have been made available.Second year records higher pass percentageAccording to data released by the Board, the D.EL.ED second-year examination recorded a pass percentage of 95.3 per cent. A total of 1,641 candidates appeared for the second-year examination, out of which 1,561 cleared the papers successfully. Thirty-eight candidates were placed under re-appear, while 42 candidates failed to qualify.The Board stated that the overall performance of second-year students was satisfactory, with a majority completing the programme within the scheduled academic session.First year examination performance detailsFor the D.EL.ED first-year examination, 2,154 candidates appeared. Of these, 1,805 candidates passed, while 282 were placed under re-appear. Sixty-seven candidates failed the examination. The overall pass percentage for the first-year examination stood at 84.11 per cent.The Board clarified that results for both years, including subject-wise marks and re-appear status, are available online for candidate reference.Re-evaluation and re-checking processCandidates dissatisfied with their results have been provided the option to apply for re-evaluation and re-checking. Online applications for re-evaluation will be accepted from January 29, 2026, and the last date for submission is February 12, 2026.The re-evaluation fee has been fixed at ?1,000 per subject, while re-inspection will cost ?800 per subject. Only candidates who have secured a minimum of 20 per cent marks in the concerned subject will be eligible to apply. The Board has stated that applications submitted through offline mode will not be accepted under any circumstances.
