Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s Initiative Gives Concrete Shape to GIS MoU
The “MP-Global Innovation and Research and Development Exchange Program-2025” commenced on Monday at the Infobeans Campus in Indore amid an enthusiastic atmosphere. On the inaugural day of the five-day event, a German business delegation engaged in a series of corporate interactions and explored opportunities for innovation and research & development in Madhya Pradesh.
The program is a concrete outcome of the agreement between MPIDC and the German-India Innovation Core (GIIC), organized in collaboration with Incubation Marks. The MoU, signed during Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s visit to Germany in November 2024 and later at the Global Investors Summit-2025 in Bhopal, has opened new dimensions of bilateral cooperation. The focus is on positioning Madhya Pradesh as a major investment destination for German companies, while also strengthening innovation, research, and technical collaboration.
The event also featured fireside chats on themes such as ‘Building Global Digital Products from India’, ‘Indian Innovation Landscape’ and “Scaling with Agility – Indian and German Perspectives.” Experts from both countries shared insights on innovation, R&D and cross-border business collaboration. The delegates also observed talent acquisition practices, culture-focused HR models, and the Shakti women empowerment initiative.
Citing the success of Indian unicorns such as Zoho, Freshworks, and BrowserStack, the German delegates expressed keen interest in exploring AI development, technical partnerships, potential R&D centers, and new employment opportunities for youth in Madhya Pradesh.
