GATE exam pattern 2026 : Check details
The GATE 2026 exam will be held for 30 papers, including core engineering subjects, science, and interdisciplinary papers. Questions in each paper will be of three types, Multiple, choice questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. The GATE exam duration is 3 hours per session, and the mark allocation for each question will be as indicated in the paper scheme. Candidates are allowed to appear for one or two papers based on their eligibility criteria.
