Secretly Medicated
He reportedly became suspicious as he “began sleeping for 20 hours a day.” Alarmed by the prolonged drowsiness, Faissal said that he confronted his family and expressed his fears of possibly dying of an overdose. “’If I get an overdose, I’ll lose my life.’ I told them to at least let the doctor monitor the dosage.”He claimed his suspicions were later confirmed by a bodyguard, who allegedly told him about the medicines after he befriended him and began playing badminton with him. Recalling the trying time, he shared, “God helped me come out of it,” Faissal said.

The actor also revealed in the same interview that his family assumed that he went into a depression when his marriage failed in just 4 months. He alleged, “My family wanted me to get married. They were putting pressure on me… They were thinking that because of my divorce, I’ve gone in depression. I’ve gone mental. Although I didn’t have that at all. I was never depressed. I didn’t have time to go into depression.”The actor also went public about his strained relationship with his family, including his brother Aamir and his treatment towards him over the years. He also called out several other superstars, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan for turning him away when he reached out to them for work during his struggling days in the industry.
