In a new Hindi Rush podcast, Faisal revealed that for 20 days, he was confined to JJ Hospital’s general ward among patients struggling with mental illnesses, undergoing tests but feeling misunderstood and silenced. His desperate attempts to reclaim his voice and agency saw him reaching out to Bollywood’s biggest stars, hoping their influence might change his fate.
Seeking help from Bollywood’s biggest names
Faisal further shared that he tried to meet Aditya Chopra at Yash Raj Studios but was turned away without even a proper appointment. He left a note, pleading for dialogue. Not stopping there, Faisal reached out to Shah Rukh Khan, hoping the King of Bollywood might lend support or at least hear him out. He also sought Salman Khan’s intervention, knowing the Bhaijaan’s reputation for standing up for those in trouble.His efforts didn’t end with these titans. Faisal tried to bring Saif Ali Khan, and Kareena Kapoor on board a project he hoped would revive his life and career. Unfortunately, secretaries blocked access and doors remained firmly shut.In an earlier chat with Mukesh Khanna, Faisal had revealed that while he hasn’t forgotten his past issues with brother Aamir Khan, he has chosen to forgive him and move forward. This gesture of reconciliation was evident when Faisal attended the wedding and reception of Aamir’s daughter, Ira Khan, in Mumbai. He was seen at the event, where he was photographed by the media, marking a rare public appearance and a possible sign of mended ties within the Khan family.
