Temple Linked to Dwapar Yuga, Witness to Lord Shri Krishna’s Leelas
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav performed ‘Pooja’ at the historic ‘Amka-Jhamka’ Temple in Sardarpur Tehsil of Dhar district on the occasion of Janmashtami. This temple, associated with the Dwapar Yuga, is believed to be connected with Lord Shri Krishna and the episode of ‘Rukmini Haran’. CM Dr. Yadav first visited the Dwapar Yuga site and offered prayers at the Ambika Mata Temple, seeking the prosperity and well-being of the state. The Chief Minister also visited the Chamunda Mata Temple thereafter.
Participates in Matki Fod Ceremony

The public and representatives gathered at the temple courtyard honored Chief Minister Dr. Yadav with a traditional ‘Gada’. During the Janmashtami celebrations, the CM Dr. Yadav fondly interacted with a calf and participated in the ‘Matki Fod’ event, energising the crowd.
Celebration Enriched with Cultural Performances
The temple grounds witnessed enchanting cultural performances by artists, creating a devotional atmosphere. Present on the occasion were the district in-charge minister, Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Union Minister of State for Women & Child Development Smt. Savitri Thakur, District Panchayat Chairperson, Sardar Singh Medha, former minister, Shri Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon, other local representatives, Indore Divisional Commissioner Shri Deepak Singh, Dhar Collector Shri Priyank Mishra, Superintendent of Police Shri Manoj Kumar Singh and a large number of devotees.
