Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the BAPS Hindu Temple in Dubai on Sunday during his official tour. Senior officials from the Madhya Pradesh delegation were also present on the occasion.
A Symbol of India–UAE Friendship
The BAPS Hindu Temple, inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on February 14, 2024, is the first traditional Hindu temple in the Middle East. It stands as a testament to the deep and growing friendship between India and the United Arab Emirates, reflecting the spirit of cultural inclusivity, interfaith harmony, and community cooperation.

Situated in the Abu Mureikha region on a 27-acre site, the temple has been constructed entirely in traditional Indian architectural style—without the use of iron or steel. It features intricately carved stones and marble sourced from India and other countries.

The temple’s stunning walls are adorned with delicate carvings of Vedic legends, Indian deities, flora and fauna, symbolising the universal values of peace, tolerance, and coexistence that form the essence of Hinduism.
