
Representatives from the Furniture, Timber and Hospitality Sectors Participate in Meeting
CM Highlights 18 New Industrial Policies and Incentive Provisions
During his visit to Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on Wednesday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met with representatives from the furniture, timber, and hotel industries. CM Dr. Yadav emphasised that Madhya Pradesh is rich in forest resources, with teak forests that are unmatched elsewhere. He proposed collaborative efforts between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh to boost the furniture industry. He noted that Madhya Pradesh is witnessing industrial growth and fresh investments alongside the expansion of existing businesses.
New Policies to Boost Industry and Investment in the State
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed the industrialists that a Global Investors Summit was held in Bhopal this February, where 18 new industrial policies were launched. These policies contain several incentive provisions from which entrepreneurs across the country can benefit. He also highlighted the innovations in Madhya Pradesh’s industrial sector, including provisions for private institutions to open new medical colleges with land and facilities provided at concessional rates. From just five medical colleges in the past, the state now has 36, and this number is expected to reach 50 in the next two years. In addition to healthcare, various other sectors are also attracting investments. Entrepreneurs from across India are showing enthusiastic interest in Madhya Pradesh.
Come to Madhya Pradesh, Set Up Industries:CM Dr. Yadav
Addressing representatives from the industrial sector, CM Dr. Yadav encouraged them to establish industries in Madhya Pradesh, assuring full support and incentives under the state’s policies. He also shared details about the Industry and Employment Year 2025, including various conclaves and Road-Shows held in different cities.
Entrepreneurs from Rajasthan presented several suggestions to the Chief Minister. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, Additional Chief Secretary to the CM Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Additional Chief Secretary Forests Shri Ashok Barnwal and other officials were present. The meeting began with representatives from Rajasthan’s industrial organizations extending a warm welcome to CM Dr. Yadav.
