With the BTS tour and new music lined up for release soon, his acting pursuits may have to wait a tad longer. However, a video doing the rounds online, has sparked enough buzz about the star’s next screen appearance and a potential first on-screen kiss.

The social media chatter around the clip, took an amusing turn on January 20, when multiple clips showed the star, not with a co-star, but with an animated frog. In the video, an animated frog jumps onto the idol and appears to swallow him whole. However, fans had a field day making the most of the video and dubbing it as his first lip-lock. The clip prompted a wave of hilarious reactions, with one saying, “this is going to sound like a fever dream but i’m pretty sure i just saw taehyung kiss a frog and then it devoured him.“

On the professional front, V will be joining the boys after a nearly four-year musical hiatus and release their fifth studio album ‘ARIRANG’ on March 20. The band also announced a 2026 – 2027 world tour, kicking off in South Korea in April and running through March 2027 with over 70 dates across Asia, North America, South America, Australia and Europe.
