
NEW DELHI: Another Air India flight faced trouble on Tuesday, as Flight AI 315, operating from Hong Kong to Delhi, experienced a fire in its auxiliary power unit (APU) shortly after landing and parking at the gate.The incident occurred while passengers had started disembarking. As per system design, the APU automatically shut down following the fire. Although the aircraft sustained some damage, all passengers and crew members disembarked safely without any injuries.“The aircraft has been grounded for further investigations, and the regulator has been duly notified,” an Air India spokesperson confirmed.
