The NBA star took to Instagram and shared her statement from the awards night while giving a shoutout to A Thousand And One star. Teyana Taylor generated waves in the Hollywood industry with her powerful acceptance speech. She starred alongside Academy Award winner Leonardo DiCaprio in the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed action thriller. Apart from the Revenant star, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, and Wood Harris are also a part of One Battle After Another.

Despite having a super busy schedule due to the ongoing NBA season, James still managed to take out time and cheer for one of his favorite Hollywood stars. Teyana Taylor, who won a Golden Globe in the Best Supporting Actor for One Battle After Another. He wrote, “Congratulations sis!! Always proud of you Teyana Taylor.”She expressed gratitude to her parents, her kids and her tribe too. Teyana Taylor also reflected on how motherhood helped her become the person she is today. She said,“I’ve been doing it since I was 15 years old… this was God reminding me that the weight is not punishment, it’s preparation for what’s already written,” she shared backstage.While celebrating almost a decade into music and acting, for Taylor the Golden Globes marked a milestone moment in Taylor’s Hollywood career. She started singing with the Pharrell’s Star Trak Entertainment when she was just 15 years-old and later even collaborated with Kanye West. Her performance in Paul Thomas Anderson-led action thriller has earned her critical acclaim across the globe. Taylor’s feat is not only a career milestone but also a personal one. Teyana Taylor was previously married to former NBA star Iman Shumpert. They legally separated in 2023 after being married for 7 years.
