Finn Wolfhard’s early life
Finn Wolfhard was born on December 23, 2002. According to People, he was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada by parents Eric Wolfhard and Mary Jolivet. Finn’s father, Eric, was a lawyer and is now a researcher on Aboriginal land claims. Finn was just 12 years old when he started acting in ‘Stranger Things’. Finn has an older brother named Nick Wolfhard, who’s a voice actor.

According to The Canadian Encyclopedia, Wolfhard is of German and French ancestry. He was raised Catholic and was homeschooled in Grade 7 before attending St. Patrick Regional Secondary School, a Catholic high school in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. Finn Wolfhard has been a music lover his whole life. In a conversation with Jimmy Fallon, his mom got him a guitar when he was just 4 years old. According to NBC, Finn Wolfhard has led several bands, including Calpurnia and The Aubreys. Calpurnia got to star in Weezer’s music video for their cover of A-ha’s “Take On Me” in 2019, and with The Aubreys, Wolfhard produced a music video to accompany the 2020 horror movie The Turning, which he also starred in.
