Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has reportedly rented four high-end apartments in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra area for a total monthly rent of Rs 24.5 lakh, as per property registration documents accessed by Zapkey.com.Located in Pali Hill’s Wilnomona ApartmentThe leased apartments are located on Nargis Dutt Road in Pali Hill, within a building named Wilnomona Apartment—a prime location known for its celebrity residents and luxurious properties.According to sources, the move is believed to be temporary and prompted by the upcoming redevelopment of Virgo Cooperative Housing Society, where Aamir Khan currently resides and owns about 12 apartments.The redevelopment project of Virgo CHS is being undertaken by Atmosphere Realty, a joint venture involving Wadhwa Group, MICL, and Chandak Group. The new construction is expected to feature ultra-luxury sea-facing homes, with prices projected to exceed Rs 1 lakh per sq ft. Some exclusive units may go for over Rs 100 crore.Aamir is expected to return to his newly redeveloped property once the construction is complete.5-year lease with a 45-month lock-in periodThe lease for the four apartments at Wilnomona spans five years, from May 2025 to May 2030, with a 45-month lock-in clause, as per the registration details.Documents reveal the security deposit stands at Rs 1.46 crore, and the rent will increase by 5% annually during the lease tenure.The properties have been rented from Wilfred Anthony Jose Pereira, and two transaction registrations were completed on May 20, 2025, with a stamp duty of over Rs 4 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 2,000 paid.
