Invites Investors During Meeting With Industrialists in Ludhiana
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, on Monday, met leading industrialists of Punjab at the Vardhman Industrial Complex in Ludhiana and informed them about Madhya Pradesh’s inclusive, liberal, and investment-friendly policies. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government is not only ready to set up industries and increase investment, but if potential is seen in any sector, necessary changes in rules will also be made accordingly.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there are special opportunities available in the garments & the textile sector in Madhya Pradesh and the state government is making serious efforts in this direction. He informed that efforts are underway to revive the Hukumchand Mill of Indore, and settlements worth more than one hundred crore rupees have been cleared, giving priority to the interests of workers. The Chief Minister said that the government’s commitment toward both investors and workers will remain at every level. He also mentioned that the state government has taken sensitive decisions in the cases of JC Mill in Gwalior and Heera Mill in Ujjain.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government is ready to make changes at the cabinet level in policies in favour of industrialists. He urged investors to come to Madhya Pradesh, explore opportunities, and take advantage of the state’s dynamism, peace, and resources. He said that there are vast opportunities in sectors such as textile, agri-based industries, engineering goods, steel processing, renewable energy, and IT in the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also told industrialists that Madhya Pradesh is not only for investment, but is also rapidly establishing its identity as a welfare state. He informed them about innovative schemes such as the Air Ambulance Service and Rahgir Seva Yojana for the poor. Industrialists appreciated these schemes and said that such thinking and sensitivity are rarely seen in other states.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met with Vardhman Group MD Shri Neeraj Jain, Ralson India Limited Chairman Shri Sanjeev Pahwa, Kangaroo Industries MD Shri Ambrish Jain, TK Steel Rolling Mills Pvt. Ltd. MD Shri Lokesh Jain, Rajneesh Industries Pvt. Ltd. Director Shri Rahul Ahuja, Farmparts Company Vice President Shri J.S. Bhogal, CICU President Shri Upkar Singh Ahuja, Kamal (Sarjavan Hosiery) representatives Shri Sudarshan Jain and Shri Arun Jain, along with industrialists from various sectors.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also mentioned that electricity tariffs in Madhya Pradesh are competitive and that regulatory procedures are being simplified and made investor-friendly. He clarified that large projects are also coming in the solar and power sectors in the state. If any environmental clearances are pending at the central government level, the Madhya Pradesh government will also make efforts to expedite them from its side.
Industrialists appreciated Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s policy clarity, decision-making ability, and promptness towards work and said that Madhya Pradesh has now joined the list of most trustworthy and investment-worthy states in the country.
