The much-awaited Mohanlal starrer Vrusshabha has officially locked its release date. The bilingual Malayalam-Telugu period action drama will hit the big screens on November 6, 2025. This update was confirmed by the superstar himself on social media.Sharing the update, Mohanlal wrote, “The ground shakes. The sky burns. Destiny has chosen its warrior. #Vrusshabha arrives on 6th November!” Initially planned for a Diwali release, the film’s premiere has been postponed by a couple of weeks to ensure a grand rollout across multiple languages and regions.Mohanlal’s Tweet was soon flooded with comments from fans. One wrote, “That’s fantastic news! Mohanlal in a warrior role for Vrushabha sounds incredibly exciting. The poster looks epic! What language is the film primarily being released in?” Another fan wrote, “4th movie in a year..how is it possible ..ur fans are gifted .” A third one wrote, “Cannot wait to see #Vrusshabha sir. Posters are smashing. Best wishes.”

Promises a grand epic movie
Directed by Nanda Kishore, ‘Vrusshabha’ explores themes of reincarnation, rivalry, and the powerful bond between a father and son. The teaser, unveiled recently, showcased Mohanlal in a fierce royal avatar, a warrior king in a previous life. The movie is expected to fall on two timelines as seen in the teaser.Although there were doubts among the fans regarding ‘Vrusshabha’, as Mohanlal’s previous two epic films ‘Barroz’ and ‘Kannappa’ flopped at the box office, with mixed reviews, the teaser for Nanda Kishore’s directorial came in like a huge relief. Majority of the audiences loved the teaser cuts and the grand visuals, except some flaws in action choreography.
Backed by a stellar team
Joining Mohanlal are Ragini Dwivedi and Samarjit Lankesh in key roles. The film’s music and background score are composed by Sam CS. Antony Samson is the cinematographer of this epic film and the editing section is handled by KM Prakash and Shailendra Kumar KJ is the co-director.
