Rishab Shetty, who wrote, directed, and acted in the film, is also making news for his personal life. He said that he and his family have left city life in Bengaluru and moved back to their village, Kundapura.Choosing roots over city lifeUnlike many celebrities who thrive on the fast pace and luxury of city life, Rishab chose a different route. In a recent conversation with ETV, he revealed that his wife Pragathi Shetty and their children, Ranvit and Raadya, now live with him in Kundapura, where the children attend nearby schools.Bringing family togetherFor the last five years, Rishab has been living in his village with his family, children, and close friends involved in the project. During the lengthy and challenging shoot of ‘Kantara Chapter 1’, he found it hard to be apart from his loved ones. That’s why he decided to bring them to the coastal village where the film’s sets were being built. He said, “We brought them here and got the kids admitted to schools nearby.”Support from his wifeRishab’s wife, Pragathi, has always supported him during his journey. He often says she helped a lot while he was busy making ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ for three years. “She took care of everything while I was lost in the world of Kantara,” he said. Now that the film is out and very successful, Rishab hasn’t decided if they will keep living in the village. He said they will decide by next March if the kids will continue school there or go back to Bengaluru.
